If you have followed my story, you may know me as a Fitness Instructor, a Turbo Kick Presenter, a Motivator, a Wife…and I am…I am all those things but what I didn’t even know about myself until most recently is that I have become a Life Changer!!

3 years ago I wouldn’t have ever thought that my life would take the turn that it did…but it has…and a lot of it is due to having my MIND in the right place!!  I did receive an Amazing Opportunity that could change my life, but if my MIND wasn’t in the right place to RECEIVE & ACCEPT IT I’m not sure the end result would still be the same.  I have read “The Secret” along with many other Personal Development books designed to help me become the BEST PERSON that I can be.  I recently read a quote by Jim Rohn “Work harder on yourself than you do on your Job…Work your Job and Earn a Living, Work on Yourself and Earn a Fortune!! —-  The Secret ~ Your Life becomes what you Think about Most of the Time… What are you thinking about most of the time? Who are you spending most of your time with? Because the Top 5 People you spend the MOST TIME with is the end result of who you become….wow!!!

3 Years ago I signed up to start my own Fitness Business as a Rep for the Company that produces P90X, Insanity, Hip Hop Abs, Turbo Fire & More!  Basically I’m a Resource helping people find a SOLUTION to Weight Loss, Fitness, Health & Finances…I decided to sign up because of a couple of reasons—

#1 I love TURBO!!! & Believe in the product 110%

#2 I LOVE Helping People get Healthy & Fit – and with “Beachbody” its easy because the products are INCREDIBLE and they are already in place!! I’m NOT the fitness professional, I’m simply the customer saying hey you should try this, its worked for me & I know it can for you too!!

#3 It’s Online Marketing!! YES I am working my fitness business via social media sites like Facebook, Blogging and more…why? This is where most people are hanging out so why not? Its also makes it 10x easier for me to meet new people and build relationships quickly….and if you think this is “sales”, its not!! It’s building & mentoring a team of people who share the same goals!

#4 I had faith in my Leadership–My Coach is a 25 Star Diamond Level Coach & she LEADS US to Success!! How? A Business Plan is in place all I had to do is LEARN IT and PLUG IN…Webinars, Team Calls & Videos at my fingertips!

#5 Financial Freedom~ Yes this is REAL!! By helping people DO THE SAME THING I AM DOING…the Beachbody Business Plan sets you up for success based on your Goals & Time Comittment…I am working on a 6 figure salary in 3 years…this is a business that is Part-Time that you will do on the side from your full time J.O.B but can and will set you up for the rest of your life….!!!!!

It’s Real, I know it because it’s happening to me!!  I LOVE IT, I’m ADDICTED to it!!  I LOVE TURBO — But what I Love even more is helping others FIND this business and SHOW them HOW they can Change Their Life the same way…..put fear aside…if you don’t do something DIFFERENT, your life will continue on the same path that it is on….take a minute and think about it…WHAT IF you made a decision TODAY to start something for your FUTURE NOW, where will your life be in 2012? 2013?

Cruisin the Caribbean

If you asked me a year ago if I ever thought I would be on a Caribbean Cruise in 2011, I would have said NO WAY…but WOW has life changed!

I want YOU to know that ANYTHING is possible when you set your Mind to it!!  Hardwork, Determination and FOCUS were definitely my Power Words for 2010….I was laid off from my full time job of over 13 yrs at the end of 2009 and instead of falling into a deep depression, I DECIDED this was my Opportunity to work my Business w/ full FOCUS!!  You would be surprised how far Goal Setting and Self Help Books will go….A Long Way!!  I had a Plan B and I’m so thankful I did…because this is where it led me

I earned a trip for 2 on a 7 Day Caribbean Cruise on the Oasis of the Seas!!  Oh yea baby! My hubby couldn’t go because of MMA Training season so I took one of my best friends, Shukria Stewart (APD from Utah).  Over 300 Beachbody Coaches were on the boat including 2 of my Coaches: Lisa Koehler and Kristia Hord!  I was MORE EXCITED for them to have Earned this trip than I honestly was for myself!!  On top of that we met up w/ my Success Partners: Blasi Jacobi, Kristi Fukumoto and my Upline ROCKSTAR Coach – Christine Dwyer & Platinum Presenters Team!!! Not to mention Corporate and staff made the trip as well…..

If you’re thinking, ohhhh it was a Business trip….think AGAIN!! In this Business we don’t know the difference between Work and Play!! And that’s the BEST way to describe my life!! I’m working w/ Positive, Driven People who Love Life and together we are having a BLAST!!!

What did we do? The 3 ports were: Bahamas, St. Thomas & St. Maarten!  It was NON STOP Fun: Turbo Kick w/ Chalene Johnsons, Jet Skiing, Dancing everynight!, Private Cocktail Parties, Dressing up for Dinner was fun everyday, Massages, Facials, Shopping it never ended….

What I’ll never forget is the relationships we built together all while setting up our futures…Thank You Beachbody!!

Day 30 of P90X Hybrid – It’s been rough

Ok this has been a rough past few weeks!  I started off strong but hit a hault when my IBS started to take control of my life…physically, mentally & emotionally I hit the WALL!!  BUT what’s important is that I got right back on track…and I think that’s what we all have to remember, Fitness is a Journey Not a Destination.  It’s a Challenge, a Struggle…but the journey is worth the ride!! Check out my Shoulders & Arms Workout – I can see the bloat diminishing, my body starting to get lean and change shape!! I can see a big difference from Day 1…one day at a time, that’s all I can focus on

10 Goals for 2011!

If you want to Achieve BIG GOALS in Life, the Best Place to Start is by writing them down….then sharing them!!!  My Business Mentor, Chalene Johnson, has taught me how to take what seems like DREAMS and turn them into GOALS you can achieve by simply writing them down!  Sound too easy? Well it is!! It’s also easy NOT to do….only 3% of People Actually Write Down their Yearly Goals…I invite you to take 5 minutes and write down the BIGGEST DREAMS you would LOVE to Achieve in 2011, not what you are going to achieve but WHAT would be AMAZING if you did!!! Stretch yourself!!

Write them down in any order 1-10.  Then Post them where you can see them everyday….lastly, share it with the people that are most important to you to hold you ACCOUNTABLE…just as I am publicly sharing mine.

My TOP 10 GOALS for 2011: (in no specific order)

1. Business Goals: 10 Star Diamond by Summit (June 2011) and 15 Star Diamond by December 2011.  Hit Success Club 5 Every Month and Qualify for 2011 Trip!

2. Increase weekly income to $3000/week – ($100,000/yr. by year end!!!)

3. Relationships: My Marriage is my #1 Priority! Spend Quality Time w/ my husband and strengthen our relationship by supporting one another personally & professionally.  Vacation this year!!

4. Fitness: Lose 8lbs by the Cruise in March!  Get in the Best Shape of my life by doing a Hybrid of P90X & Insanity!! FOCUS on Nutrition: Plan Ahead & Make it a Priority

5. Attend Live Seminars to Grow in my Profession:

  • Social Media Training – February
  • Beachbody Summitt – June
  • Camp Turbo/Do More – July
  • One Instructor Convention – October

6. Team Building:

  • Help at least 5 Coaches on My Team build their business to DIAMOND STATUS!!
  • Step up as a Leader and Help my team Achieve their Goals
  • Host Live Events, Start a Fit Club, Team Webinars

7. Personal Development: Read one book a month!  Work on my weaknesses including Time Management, Organization

8. Open my own Studio or Rent Space to teach classes!

9. Powder Blue Productions: Hit 5 Star Status in March 2011 and maintain it for the entire year!! Work diligently on improving myself as an Instructor and Presenter to be in the Elite Group of this Company!!

10.  Be Significant in the lives of others…I believe people are STARVING for Motivation, Inspiration and Help!!  Reach out to more people and show them a solution and support!

What is your Missing Link? I believe the main reason most people do not achieve the Fitness or Weight Loss Goals they are striving for is because they are MISSING one of these 3 components….take a look and evaluate yourself in each category…

1. Is your Fitness Program Working for You?

Do you look forward to your workout?  Are you consistently getting New Results Every 30 days?

  • It should be FUN!!!  If it’s not most likely you will lose interest
  • It should be COMPOUND – Incorporates Cardio, Strength & Flexibility
  • Scheduled Workouts: You need a Plan!!  One of the biggest mistakes people make is that they just pick a piece of cardio equipment and start moving….well that is good, but it will only get you so far

2.  Nutrition/Supplements

Are you working out and feeling great but the scale is still NOT MOVING?  Do you feel you lack the ENERGY required to do your workouts each day?  Are you addicted to coffee or diet pop?  If so, that is a red flag to better your nutrition….here are some basic tips:

  • Nutrition Plan that matches your Workout Program: You need a Plan!!  And one that matches the intensity of your workout program
  • Schedule & Plan Ahead:  Just like your Fitness program, you need a nutrition plan that is EASY and takes out all of the guess work for you.  All you have to do is PLAN AHEAD and go to the grocery store
  • Supplements!!  Depending on your fitness goals, supplements are a great way to get the nutrition to your body that you normally wouldn’t eat all in one day including vitamins, proteins shakes & more

3.  Accountability/Support

Are you just starting a workout program?  Do you need motivation or direction?  Do you like the idea of having an Accountability Coach?

  • Everyone needs support!!  Whether you workout at home or the gym, having a go to person to ask questions is key!
  • Positive Energy!!  Surround yourself w/ positive/motivated people…and you will get a lot farther…faster!!
