I think those are the words that float through my mind EVERY TIME I hear her speak – every live training, youtube video, 30 day free challenge, Camp Do More, Turbo Kick Classes and more…..NOW I KNOW!!!! AND all of her “Secrets”, Tips and HABITS are revealed in PUSH!!!
“30 Days to Turbocharged Habits, a Bangin Body & the Life you Deserve!!” And it DELIVERS!! First I want to say that I have been following her trainings for years and even though I had picked up bits and pieces here and there, I knew once I put it all TOGETHER it would be POWERFUL!! Everyone will TAKE AWAY different things because we are all LOOKING for different things….here were my BIG A HA MOMENTS…
1. DISCIPLINE – Sticking with the 30 day program forced me into NEW HABITS…Discipline!! We all have the POWER to Achieve Every GOAL we set for ourselves…but most of us lack the DISCIPLINE to do the Daily Baby Steps to get there. Learning to look at a BIGGER GOAL and FORCING myself to learn a new habit, therefore DISCIPLINING myself was the missing link. Successful People are Disciplined to Do What Most Others won’t….
2. ORGANIZATION: Ahhh I run the other way when I hear this word!! Details?? Me?? Oh No!! I see the Big Picture but the details make me want to jump on to the next task on my list. I’ve always made a To Do List but it was on several pieces of paper…post it notes, notebooks and notebooks and notebooks, cell phone apps YOU NAME IT!!! Why couldn’t I find ONE that worked? After learning her simple system of breaking down the tasks on your To Do List to TODAY, THIS WEEK & SOMEDAY – I found an app that I fell in LOVE with GET IT DONE APP
It follows the same folders, syncs to my phone and I am able to do my To Do List on my computer…which is WHAT Works For ME!!! It’s not just creating a To Do List, most people do that….its Creating a To Do List with the TASKS that are going to move you towards your Push Goal!!
3. PUSH GOAL / THINKING BIG – One of her signature ideas in the book is teaching you how to set Goals but specifically a PUSH Goal. Basically a Yearly BIG Goal then when accomplished will allow all of your other goals to fall into place as ACCOMPLISHED!! She has you write out 10 Goals for the year and IDENTIFY which one will be your Push Goal. NOW….I have done the 10 Goals before, specifically in 2006 when I first became a Presenter for PBP. It worked for me then when I had no idea what I was doing, haha!! This time around I added the PUSH GOAL – which was still EASY….but now came the HARD PART…..Reverse Engineering your Push Goal!!!! Again, I ve heard her talk about this before, show it on videos and I always RAN to the next task….thinking oh no way!! NO WAY can I do that…really I was telling myself that I wasn’t willing to DISCIPLINE myself to do that!! What is Reverse Engineering – in simple terms….breaking down your Push Goal to EVERY SINGLE TINY STEP you must take to achieve it!! And your goal is to come up with a huge, LONG list of mini tasks…the more the better!! Ahhhhh Well Guess What….I did it!! I MADE MYSELF DO IT!! I went into the dining room, posted the GIANT Poster Size Post It notes on the wall and started writing for probably a good 30 minutes NON STOP!!! Once I was done I thought I was going to feel overwhelmed and think…HOW in the world am I ever going to do all of this???? But just the opposite happened…..I felt RELIEF!! I felt a huge weight lifted off of my shoulders because I just spilled every idea, thought, to do list task on paper…every single one of them. I HAD A PLAN…ON PAPER!!! A Plan to Achieve the Biggest Goal of my Personal Career, one that will Change my Family’s Life!!!
Chalene teaches you the HABITS to Success whether Fitness, Nutrition, Relationships or Business!! It is a Life Changing Book! She is REAL, down to earth and you will feel like you are talking to your Best Friend when she takes you through the journey. Can you Discipline yourself to PUSH for 30 days?? I’m glad I did!! It wasn’t easy, but it was 100% worth it!! Now I’m PUSHING you to do the same!!
I’m just an everyday girl with a heart hungry to do something Great with my Life…I can’t ever Thank Chalene enough…but what I can do is PAY IT FORWARD!! Learn it – Live it – Teach it!!!
